Lebron James (6) 2013 NBA MVP

The most anticipated event of the year, the NBA finals game 7 between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat is over. A lot of people yesterday stopped what they were doing to watch G7 on TV. I watched at our office TV on bTV. It was so exciting especially in the last few seconds of the game. I cannot help but be amazed at the Heat's power forward Lebron James. It was a team effort I know with Dwayne Wade, Shane Battier, Ray Allen, Andersen, Chris Bosh, and Miller helping. However, it was James' leadership and shooting that did the Spurs in. The result? The Heat won with 95-88 of the Spurs. WOW! I felt so high yesterday. My team won! 

I learned that Lebron James is now a 4 time MVP awardee. Amazing. I also learned that he is married with 2 kids. His wife's name is Savannah Brinson and they're both close friends of Beyonce and Jay Z. I'll post some photos here for you to feast your eyes on courtesy of Google. Smile.

 

You know what? I prayed that they would win and God answered my prayer. Amazing. The Heat has won the championship two times in a row.

 

The Spurs played their best but the Heat dominated them in terms of rebounds and 3 point shots. The Heat really scrambled in order to get the ball and converting turnovers to points. 

Lebron is handsome. See for yourself.

 

I hope I get to see them again  in the playoff season as well as in next year's finals. Congratulations to Lebron James for winning the Most Valuable Player award this year. Kudos to Fil-Am coach Erik Spoelstra.

Billboard Music Awards 2013

This event is truly the most wonderful, magical, star studded music event of the year. I have watched the Grammy awards too but nothing compares to the Billboard music awards. This year, Madonna was awarded the Top Touring Artist of the year. Way to go M! Though I did not like her outfit that much. 

That's not the right outfit for such a prestigious occasion. Just look at Taylor Swift. 

Now isn't she lovely? And here's another two when she performed her single "22". Her performance was great in that she started singing somewhere backstage and ended on the stage. Wow! It was electrifying. 

She was the top awardee because she nabbed 8 awards including top artist and top 200 album for "Red"

Taylor Swift overshadowed the 'Bieb" (Justin Bieber) who only bagged 3 awards. The latter was also booed by the crowd when he made his 'thank you' speech for the Billboard Milestone award. That award was voted by fans.

Another thing I liked about this event was Selena Gomez' performance of her new single 'Come & Get It'. I didn't know she could dance. She was awesome.

And she wore this gorgeous white Versace Atelier gown on the blue carpet.

Nice! This event also featured lots of good music that I love. Christina Aguilera and Pitbull with their collab song "Feel This Moment". J.Lo and Pitbull's "Live It Up". What I don't like is the Bieb's performance. It was a dull moment for me. Sorry to his fans. It's just my opinion. I also don't like Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. I know she's got a bigger backside than J. Lo but she doesn't have to grind it in front of everyone. I mean 'hello' . 

All in all, the event was a total success.

I'm looking forward to next year's Billboard Music Awards.

Leggings from ROMWE

My boss handed me a piece of paper last friday.  He gave it to me matter of factly. I mean while he was saying something else, he handed it to me. It was a note from the post office saying I have a parcel that needs picking up. Php 50 was also wriiten in front. I ignored it but when I got to the post office to claim the parcel, the woman in charge asked me to pay Php 50. I asked what for? And she said "customs". What the... I just handed her a Php 50 bill so that was the end of it. I signed in the log book and I left with my parcel. It was from ROMWE. I was expecting it of course.
